Sharjah real estate transactions hit Dh3.5 billion in April
Industrial and commercial zones dominate high-value property deals
SHARJAH – Sharjah’s real estate sector registered transactions valued at Dh3.5 billion in April 2026, reflecting continued momentum across the emirate’s property market.
The figures, issued by the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, show a total of 15,669 transactions completed during the month.
Covering approximately 13 million square feet in traded sales area, the data highlights steady activity supported by investor confidence, regulatory stability, and ongoing development projects shaping the emirate’s urban landscape.
Transaction mix
Title deed transactions led with 8,710, forming 55.6 percent of total, followed by ownership certificates at 5,291 or 33.8 percent. Initial sales contracts reached 936 (6 percent), while mortgages stood at 443, valued at Dh651 million, accounting for 2.8 percent.
Valuations were 289, or 1.8 percent. Sales activity spanned 115 areas across residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural segments, recording 1,537 land transactions, 790 subdivided units and 348 built-in land deals, taking total sales transactions to 2,675.
Market hotspots
April saw concentrated activity in key locations. The highest transaction was in Industrial Area 4, where a built-in land deal reached Dh30 million. In mortgage activity, Al Majaz 1 recorded a land valued at Dh153 million.
Within Sharjah City, Muwaileh Commercial led with 447 transactions, followed by Mezairah with 238, Rodhat Al Sidr with 136 and Al Sehma with 131.
In value terms, Muwaileh Commercial topped at Dh448.5 million, followed by Al Menhaz at Dh213 million, Al Sajaa Industrial at Dh205.7 million and Tilal at Dh191.9 million.
Regional activity
Beyond the city core, activity remained distributed across Sharjah’s regions, reflecting balanced demand. Sharjah City accounted for 2,004 sales transactions, reinforcing its position as the main hub of activity. In the Central Region, 613 sales transactions were recorded, with Al Belaida leading at 366 transactions and registering the highest value of Dh176.4 million.
The Eastern Region, covering Khorfakkan, Kalba and Dibba Al Hisn, recorded 58 transactions in total, with Al Mudeife leading both in volume and value at 20 transactions worth Dh29.9 million. The distribution highlights sustained engagement across urban and peripheral markets.
